Leslie and Candidate Seminar

"I'm a missionary helper... my dollars go God's way."
Sitting up all by myself.

Uh yeah, could I get a medium pizza with everything on it delivered to my room please.

Leslie and her future MK cousin, Lydia.
But mommy, I don't want to ride the elephant!

I guess it's not so bad.

No inflight movie? That's okay, I have my Jesus Storybook Bible.

Look at my 4-month-old!

I found this blog through a friend and was so intrigued by what she's doing that I thought I would give it a try. This girl actually started potty training her baby when she was 5 weeks old! When we were in Africa I heard that the Togolese have their babies potty trained in the first 4 months.
Me? Well, I just figure we can at least try to get Leslie accustomed to the toilet so that by the time she can tell us she needs to go she'll already know what's going on.
Okay, so I put Leslie on this Baby Bjorn Little Potty tonight and she went potty on it right away! There I was holding a 4-month-old on a potty and she sat there like she'd been doing it her whole life. I have to admit, it tickled my funny bone so much I was laughing hard enough to cry as I held her there on the potty.
Enjoy the pics!

3 months old yesterday

Leslie's voice has developed this month. She coos and says boo. I love the video above because she is very vocal when she kisses. It makes me laugh.

She follows things with her eyes very well and smiles at just about anyone who says hello to her. In the video of her below you can see her follow the mobile on her swing. She loves that thing! Often times she'll smile at the bear on it. (The noise in the background is the washing machine)

Leslie has also discovered that she likes the little baby in the mirror. I'm not sure she knows that it's her, but she's not too shy to throw a dashing smile at herself.

I think she's learned what "are you hungry" means. She gets pretty excited when I ask her.

She now lifts her head up off her bouncy seat.

We've discovered that her moby (the purple wrap in the picture below) is the best way to get through a church service without crying. BTW, this picture is for you Rachael. It's never to early to start in the kitchen with the Pampered Chef right?

A Little Character

Smiley girl!
Ryan wanted to see what Leslie will look like with hair. Hardy, har, har!

Leslie got to "hold" her little cousin Randi. I love the expression on her face!

Auntie who wrote 'Hey Boo' for Leslie.

LOL!
