Pictures of AnnMarie's Birthday
My friend who is a birth photographer photographed AnnMarie's birth. To see her blog post click here. All of the pictures are approved by me, so there shouldn't be anything you may find too shocking. There are also interview questions and a letter I wrote to AnnMarie there.

Time to get a move on
It's been FOREVER since I've blogged. I usually just have a million other things to do that I deem as priorities. One of them being actually doing things with my baby girl. I've decided that from now on I'm going to write this blog to Leslie rather than about Leslie.
So here it goes...
Maybe this week I'll try to go back and catch up on the last 9 months of your life that I have not posted here. I need to do your first birthday, meeting Uncle Dave, Christmas, your first steps, weening, you sleeping in your own bed, and some of the funny little things that you do everyday, etc. It's a good thing I take pictures of you on a regular basis so I can kind of follow your progress with a little bit of their help.
At the moment, it is very difficult to type because you are sleeping on my lap. You took two mini naps in your own bed then I brought you out to the couch to sit on my lap and you fell back to sleep. Grandmary is coming over in a little bit so I want you to be rested up so you will have fun with her.
I love you baby girl. Mommy.

Lovely Leslie~9 months
Leslie turned nine months old on the hottest day in Seattle's recorded history. It was 104 degrees out! She did NOT like the heat, so we spent a bit of time at the pool that day. This month she's been fine tuning her army crawl and working on her chattering. She's also learned to suck out of a straw. She likes whatever Mommy's having even if it's something she can't have. She's been learning that 'No' means she can't have it.
Leslie has been trying very hard to pull herself up on the furniture, but she hasn't quite figured out to use her knees for support.
She loves it when Daddy comes home from work. She squeals with excitement when she sees him walk through the door. She likes to clap with Daddy and joke around with him. She blows raspberries when she thinks we're laughing at her. She thinks it's hilarious when he kicks her little pink ball against the wall and when her teddy bear gets her.

Eight Months Old
Our lovely lady is 8 months old today. This month has been an especially busy month for her. She has learned to army crawl, she's cut her lower left tooth, she learned to wave (we didn't teach her that), and she's learned to clap. She likes to play musical instruments and sing along. She also likes to display her musical talent in church and flash her dashing little smile at whoever will give her the time of day.
Some firsts this month:
We got her ears pierced
She went camping with Grandma Edi
She went to Wild Waves and rode the carousel
Now that Leslie can crawl, we're having to baby proof our house. She likes to get into the DVD's. She difinitely keeps us more on our toes, but we love our little red-head to bits. Check out the babe in her suit below.
